The 2022 Platinum Jubilee Full Sovereign Gold Proof Coin was issued by The Royal Mint to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne. Struck from 22 carat (916.7 fine) gold, the coin features Jody Clark's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and a special Royal Coat of Arms design by Timothy Noad on the reverse, replacing the traditional St George and the Dragon design for this historic commemorative year.
