The 2004 Full Sovereign Gold Proof Coin was issued by The Royal Mint during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Struck from 22 carat (916.7 fine) gold, the coin features Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse alongside Benedetto Pistrucci’s iconic St George and the Dragon design on the reverse.
