Product Highlights
The 1913-P Australian Full Sovereign was struck at the Perth Mint during the reign of King George V. Struck from 22 carat (916.7 fine) gold, the coin features Sir Edgar Bertram Mackennalโs portrait of King George V on the obverse alongside Benedetto Pistrucciโs iconic St George and the Dragon design on the reverse.
The โPโ mintmark identifies this Sovereign as having been struck at the Perth Mint in Western Australia, which operated as a branch of The Royal Mint. This example has been graded MS61 by NGC, recognising an uncirculated coin retaining strong original detail. Its Australian branch-mint heritage, historic King George V issue and certified Mint State grade make it a desirable addition to a Sovereign collection.
