Product Highlights
The 1995 Full Sovereign was struck by The Royal Mint in 22 carat gold during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features Benedetto Pistrucci's iconic depiction of St George slaying the dragon, one of the most recognisable designs in British coinage.
The obverse features Raphael Maklouf's third definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, used on British coinage between 1985 and 1997. This proof example has been independently certified PF69 Ultra Cameo by NGC, recognising a near-perfect proof coin with exceptional contrast between its frosted design and deeply mirrored fields.
Combining the classic Full Sovereign format with the craftsmanship of The Royal Mint, this 1995 edition offers collectors an attractive example of British numismatic heritage. Its high NGC certification, traditional Pistrucci reverse and distinctive Maklouf portrait make it a desirable addition to any graded Sovereign collection.
