The 2022 Piedfort Full Sovereign was struck by The Royal Mint in 22 carat gold as part of the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Sovereign collection. Struck to twice the standard weight of a Full Sovereign, the Piedfort format gives the coin a distinctive additional thickness and substantial feel.

The reverse features Jody Clark’s Royal Arms design, created for the 2022 Memorial Sovereign series following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
